Chuck Neal

Many people have asked, “What is an Appleknocker?” My careers started with a successful basketball career in which my high school team, the Cobden Appleknockers, finished 2nd in the 1964 Illinois State tournament. This was an extraordinary feat since there were no class divisions and our high school only had 142 students and Cobden’s population was 900. Following high school, I played division 1 basketball at the University of Memphis, formally Memphis State University Tigers and graduated in 1968 with a BBA degree with a major in sales and a minor in industrial management. Upon graduation, I was commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force and served in Viet Nam as an Air Traffic Controller. Returning from Viet Nam, I went to flight school and became an USAF pilot serving 20.5 years and retired.  Northwest Airlines hired me as a pilot and I completed an 18 year career flying both stateside routes and overseas routes which included ratings in the Boeing 727, DC-9, Boeing 747, and the DC-10 aircraft. So, I was set to relax, play golf, and enjoy retirement until my wife, Judy said, “How would you like to become a realtor?”  To be sure, I was reluctant at first, but now that I am in Real Estate sales I find that it is just as rewarding an experience as my other careers. Not because I majored in sales but because I have found this career has been a rewarding experience helping others find just the right home to buy or in selling their home.  I am at a point in my life that I can concentrate on other people’s needs and not my own. Whether it is a $30,000 or $300,000 home, my clients get the same level of care and service. I truly am in this career to help people with their real estate needs. If this is the service you are seeking in a real estate broker, give me the chance to serve you and your family. I promise you your needs will always be my first and only reason in finding or selling your home.

A Review From John Nimmo Owner / Managing Broker!

Judy and Chuck Neal came to Southern Real Estate Group after servin serving in a competitor agency and brought with them a fierce competitve attitude and willingness to serve.  I had acmired Judy as a very hard worker on behalf of her clients and her drive to succeed  I had admired both Chuck and Judy for their work ethic and their resolve to be ethical and to treat their clients with integrity.  Chuck has become our short sale / foreclosure specialist for our office.  Because Chuck has an "eye" for detail and is so concientious about getting it right, he currenetly serves as the office manager for the Anna, Illinois office.  Contact Chuck or Judy for all your real estate needs.  You will  not be disappointed in their service.
