 William and Evelyn Bailey Following our careers in education and with our children grown, we earned our Real Estate licenses. Our new business has allowed us to meet many wonderful people and to drive down roads we never would have driven. We feel that Southern Illinois is an under-appreciated area of the state not only by “out of towners,” but also by those of us who live here. We frequently find ourselves walking through some transitions in life with our clients, just by the nature of the business. - Some of our local clients are moving up to a more spacious home for their growing families or investing in a larger piece of land for hunting, recreation, or hobbies.
- Other local clients are downsizing to smaller yards to mow or less house to maintain giving them more time to enjoy our beautiful area.
- Our out-of-the-area buyers are frequently young retirees, moving away from crowds and concrete, as well as those people wanting to return to the beauty they remember from their time at Southern Illinois University.
- Some are transitioning to new jobs and new communities.
We are active in the Southern Illinois Tourism Network so that we can share the many activities in our area. We love promoting Southern Illinois’ peacefulness and ease of living.
